My name is Elisabetta Benda, I was born in Bovisio.
Masciago where I currently live.
In my life, I have taken different career paths,
starting from office work all the way to organization
of sporting events at the international level but, in each
lived experience, I have never abandoned my interest in drawing and art in general.
I have always had a passion for working with materials by hand ranging from clay and Raku work to wood. In recent years I discovered pyrography and it was immediately love at first “engraving.”
Pyrography is an engraving technique using a
Heat source resting directly on wood. Today this technique is carried out using simple electric transformers that allow the pen attached to them to permanently etch the wood
With the image that the artist wants to reproduce.
Pyrography is not to be confused with printing or with products that are all the same on the market,
